This form of tourism is aimed at allowing the local or foreign visitor to take an active part in school activities and in the local natural, social, cultural and economic setting.

This interaction between tourists and the school strengthens the project and contributes to a sustainable economy.

Individual tourists may help in school activities and teach pupils something useful.

This initiative is run by an educational specialist, who teaches students how to assist visitors and accompany them on sightseeing trips locally, or deeper into the countryside, where visitors may discover the world of cocoa plantations and processing.

The tourist is provided with food and lodging, under the tourist scheme known as "tourism and training"
